We welcome everyone to our services and events in Seven Towers. There are no forms to fill in, or tests to pass …. just come and join us whenever and wherever it suits you;  we would love to meet you!

 

We are a group of Christians, worshipping God using the services of the Church of England.

We believe in God the Father, who made the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.

We believe in God the Son, called Jesus. Jesus was both God and man – his Father was God, and his mother was Mary, a human woman. He was God, coming to earth in human form, to live among us and show us how God the Father wanted us to live, in love and peace with everyone. He died on a cross, because people felt threatened by him and his following. Three days later he rose from the dead, which we call the Resurrection, and spent some more time with his disciples, before returning to be with his Father, God.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit. He / she is the essence of God, living in the hearts of those who believe in him, guiding them and walking with them as they try to live the way God wants, here in our world today.

This isn’t 3 Gods, it’s one God in 3 different forms. We call this – God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit – the Trinity.

In the past it was a matter of ‘believing and belonging’ – if you  believed, you could belong – to the church. If you didn’t, you couldn’t. We believe that Jesus would have called it ‘belonging and believing ‘ – everyone is welcome to belong to the church family, and some people believe, and some aren’t sure.
